Wisdom in the back seat of a taxi.

A friendly Lebanese man shared his cab with me from the bus station in Damascus this morning. He also shared this piece of wisdom:

'Australia and Syria the same, just, Australia have Skippy.'

Then, as an after thought he added,

'Skippy and democracy.'

This made me smile.
